What sets Thinkubator apart: we move back and forth between several worlds. Our work spans education, research and consulting - and we actively connect the three. The result is networked knowledge that is tested in practice and ready to apply.
We see knowledge transfer into practice as the core of our work, focused on circular economy and climate neutrality. Over the past five years we have trained 4,190 people and built a high-calibre network of experts we collaborate with on implementation.

Was ist Klima? Und was habe ich als einzelne Person damit zu tun? Diese und andere Fragen stellten sich unsere Lehrlinge gemeinsam mit Felix von Thinkubator in einem spannenden 6-stündigen Workshop. Die Lehrlinge durften ihre Kreativität unter Beweis stellen und sich beim Erarbeiten von nachhaltigen Lösungen für das Unternehmen Miele einbringen. Was kam dabei heraus? Ein grünes Potpourri an Ideen, wie etwa den Materialverbrauch durch mehr Reparieren zu reduzieren oder Verpackung einzusparen. Es war sehr inspirierend, mit welcher Lust, etwas zu bewegen, die Lehrlinge auf die Aufgabenstellungen eingegangen sind.
Bei Thinkubator geht es darum, auf Augenhöhe und im sehr genuinen Austausch gemeinsam mit Fellows über bestehende Herausforderungen nachzudenken, sie zu inspirieren und auf ihrem eigenen Weg ein Stück weit zu begleiten. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf einer prozessoffenen Haltung und Kultur der Selbstreflexion, die nicht nur Kreislaufwirtschaft im Fokus hat, sondern auch weitere nachhaltige Aspekte wie Geschlechtergerechtigkeit oder Frauen als Führungskräfte aufgreift - und in der eigene Erwartungen, Unzulänglichkeiten und blinde Flecken offen und kritisch angesprochen werden (dürfen). Thinkubator: Unprätentiös, offen, vielseitig.
We work with Thinkubator on three levels. In the sustainability workshops, apprentices experience that sustainability starts in their own working day. They get to know tools, develop their own project ideas and think ecological, social and economic aspects together. At our Fokus Lehre Summits, the team shows trainers how project work with apprentices succeeds and what role they themselves play in it. What convinces us about the collaboration: Thinkubator meets young people with genuine interest and trusts them to do a lot.
Working with Thinkubator on the UZ62 was incredibly straightforward. Alex was super committed and always right there when we had questions. Together with Edith from ehgutberaten, we had a great team that guided us through the bureaucracy jungle. Thanks for the support, and see you at our next joint project!
We came across Thinkubator more or less by chance, and it turned out to be a real stroke of luck. The team was super friendly and approachable from the start. At first we had little idea which environmental certifications even exist and which might be relevant for us. But instead of pushing us in one direction, they were honest and supportive from the very beginning. The workshops in which we worked out the next steps together were well prepared and exciting throughout, so we could set our goals well informed and realistically. Thank you for the great collaboration, we look forward to many more meetings!

What I particularly liked about working with Thinkubator was that we could both learn from each other in very concrete ways. We brought in our experience with accessibility and product development, and the Thinkubator team helped us factor in the ecological perspective much more systematically in technical decisions, such as cloud vs. on-device. The result was not just a concept, but a concrete assessment tool that we can now use whenever we develop new AI features.
Working with Thinkubator during the sessions and workshops was an outstanding experience. We received practical, highly relevant guidance and tailored support that helped us gain new knowledge and expand our understanding of areas that were previously unfamiliar to us.
