FROM KNOWING TO DOING.
Impact report 2021-2026
Knowledge about the circular economy is abundant; acting on it is rare. That gap - the knowledge action gap - is where we work.
This page shows how our work takes effect: which steps lead from research to systemic change, where we stand on the impact ladder and which figures sit behind it.
The guiding question is additionality: would it have happened without us? We only count what we set in motion ourselves.
HOW KNOWLEDGE TURNS INTO ACTION
Three knowledge fields work together: research produces solid evidence, education brings it to the people who apply it, consulting implements it inside organisations. Click a field for activity, result and contribution.
A CLIMATE NEUTRAL CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN EUROPE
No single project reaches that goal. So we measure whether our formats shift knowledge, behaviour and business models in that direction.
SEVEN STEPS, FROM ACTIVITY TO SYSTEM
We follow the PHINEO impact ladder. The lower steps describe what we do, the upper ones what changes because of it. Click a step for details.
The higher the step, the harder the evidence.
Participants understand circular principles and can transfer them to their own context. Evidence: feedback, learning assessments, coursework.

SHORT FORMATS REACH MANY, LONG ONES CHANGE MORE
Short formats make up the larger share of our events but contribute little impact. Impact comes from multi-day and multi-week programmes.
